 This is a wonderful gift that will have long-term,
positive ripple effects throughout our community.
The benefits of this funding to provide a comprehensive
and professionally driven science curriculum for our fourth
through sixth grade students will be felt for many, many years.
By any measure – economic, social, cultural –
education is the cornerstone of a great community.
And a great community is measured, in large portion,
by its commitment to its children and the opportunities it
provides them….how it nurtures them…encourages them to
dream…and then does everything it can to provide resources
needed to attain their dreams.
For many, many years Newport Beach and Costa Mesa
have stood proudly by their children and their public
schools…a deep, historical, long-term commitment to
education.
 Today, we are again planting seeds of the benefits of
lifelong learning/providing opportunities for our children
today…and for the children of tomorrow.
